After shooting their engagement session I made a mental note to remember how much fun spending time with Don and Yolanda is. At their engagement session they were constantly making each other laugh so I was looking forward to shooting their wedding for some time.
We actually met with them shortly before we went to New York last November to shoot Tania and Zulfikar’s wedding. We had a good connection with Don and Yolanda right away. While walking around Central Park in New York to photograph Tania and Z with their wedding party, I got an email from our booking system that Don and Yolanda had booked us. I told Shawna right away and we couldn’t believe how incredible New York was turning out for us (I proposed to Shawna on that trip).
Their ability to make each other laugh was just as apparent as their love for each other. Following the wedding, Shawna and I planned a dinner with Don and Yolanda because they were just too much fun to be around.
