Sarah and Erik were really sweet and their engagement session was one filled with laughs and beautiful, tender, loving moments. Weeks before the engagement session, I often ask couples to prepare for it by choosing (from a list I send them) some fun things to do together – integrating some of these into the engagement shoot. When I meet with couples at their engagement session, they are often in the midst of planning their wedding. These “play lists” I send out are a fun break from all the wedding planning. Erik and Sarah showed up to Balboa Park with 3 or 4 different tasks chosen from my “play list”. I wish I could have spent the whole day with them because we all had a great time. Such a great way to get couples to focus on each other and have fun, rather than worrying about a guy with a camera they barely know simply taking photos.
