I had a great time photographing Chris and Valerie’s engagement session a couple weeks ago. They are both creative types – he works in set design and she is a costume designer. For the engagement session, they wanted an architectural setting so we decided to shoot at the Salk Institute in La Jolla. I love shooting in great architectural spaces. San Diego has so much natural scenery that we often shoot in, but when I get an opportunity to shoot in a different type of space, my creative energies get amplified.
